Balmoral Boy was owned by the late Mr Alec McIntosh. Many outstanding horses were bred by him including Balmoral Bill, Balmoral Gent, Balmoral Ice, Balmoral Princess, Balmoral Duchess, Balmoral Rose etc.
All of the Balmoral Boy horses had great size, jumping ability and movement, together with outstanding trainability, temperament and soundness. As the years have gone by, Balmoral Boy has become regarded as one of the most influential stallions used in the breeding of Australian sport horses ever, particularly used by the breeding program at Blackall Park Stud.
